That's an old desert trick, Anita.
You might also like to try mixing it with a little sugar, to make it
more attractive to the insect.
Apparently a chemical reaction takes place during the digestive process
and the insect explodes/implodes. Works with roaches, too. Cheaper and
less dangerous (to the user) than sprays, &c.
