The original poster seemed concerned that germplasm control would place us
all at the mercy of commercial seed producers and that saving of seed could
be regulated. While I don't believe such a thing will come to pass,
imagine what discussions on this list would be like if such were the case.
That is why I believe this topic is appropriate for at least a limited
discussion, and certainly more appropriate than such recent posts as:
