Are hollyhocks self pollinating? Last year, in a fit of excitement, I
planted an assortment of single hollyhocks close together. Now, as they are
blooming, I am wondering what will come of the seed? Will I still get clean
whites, pretty pinks, and mellow ambers? Or did I really mess things up?
Will every seed I plant be a mystery until the plant blooms?
