Here in South Central Texas, Z 8/9, I am starting lots of seeds for fall
planting. Vegetables include lettuces, greens, brassicas, cucumbers. I've
seeded dill, parsley, basils, savory (summer and winter variety), sages,
cilantro, fennel to name a few. Flowers seeded now include calendula,
marigolds, pansies, petunias, hollyhocks. A little later, in a month or so,
I can plant garden peas, onions, garlic, and put the previously seeded
crops in the ground, too. Sweet peas, annual poppy seed, Spring blooming
wildflowers can all be planted in Sept and Oct here.
