Penny,
We have some Brugmansia here in our greenhouses and propagation by
terminal cuttings seems to be very easy. I have used both under mist and
straight vermiculite with good success. Some trimming of the large leaves
is a help to prevent wilting early on.
Regarding care of the established plant, lots of light, somewhat
dry between waterings, heavy-handed pruning when the plant gets too big
seems to work for us.
