I kept a close watch on the seeds & when they seemed ripe (the seeds inside
the pods were brown), planted them within a couple weeks of harvesting them.
From what I have heard, the seeds of C. ugandense have a rather short "shelf
life" and the sooner you sow them, the better chance of germination you will
have. I also, nicked & soaked them overnight before planting, as I do for all
hard-shelled seeds. Judy Showers
