Subject: Anyone doing cuttings now?
Cuttings from tropical and hose plants can be taken at any time of the year.
Garden plants such as mums, fushia, begonia, etc. can be taken now.
For woody plants it is often better to take either winter cuttings
(hardwood) or spring cuttings (softwood).
Many garden plants go dormant during the summer therefore they are difficult
to propagate during the summer.
