Hi Kemberly,
Haven't been on the computer for a long time due to the fact that FINALLY we
have our new baby!!! I've been up in Chicago doing the things that grandmas
like to do, ie. laundry, cooking cleaning and of course, bonding w/ our new
arrival. His name is Sam and he came to us on Aug 9 weighing in at 7lb.
20z. Oh Kemberly, he is just absolutely the prettiest little boy I have
ever seen. Could that be because of a little bias on my account? Probably.
Anyway, just before Sam arrived, I tried to install a new operating system
(Windows 98) on the computer and ended up w/ a major disaster. One thing
after another went wrong until I finally had to re-format the hard drive.
One of the worst things was that I lost ALL of my email contacts from the
address book file. This meant that I couldn't write to anyone I had met on
the net because I could not, for the life of me remember their email
addresses. Oh how bad I felt! Since that disaster, I have been trying to
re-install all my programs w/ the internet related stuff being my greatest
priority. I got connected yesterday and was able to post my question re;
the triple yellow Datura and lo and behold there you were! So glad to be in
touch again! I wonder how it is that we never talked about the daturas? I
guess that was because I had just discovered the beauty of the Cleros-huh?
Anyway...I would love to be able to trade or purchase some of those triple
yellow seeds. I know we talked about trading some cuttings for later this
fall and just maybe we could co-ordinate something at that time. Please
Kemberly, refresh my memory about which plants I was rooting for you? I
have about 10 small containers w/ different cuttings in them for people but
I did not label them because I typed/stored all that information on the
computer in my journal program. Of course...you know what that means??? So,
please let me know which plants I promised to you and I will put a label on
them so as not to have this happen again-ok? Talk to you soon,
