Re: Tulip question


I believe that tulips are sensitive to root disturbance while they are
actively growing. I was told never to disturb them until the foliage began
to yellow because it could cause premature dormancy (This is after
flowering) I've never tried to dig one up beforehand - those long slender
shoots are easily broken.
