Just toss the seeds either in a pot or on the ground where you want it
to grow. Golden Rain trees germinate readily and are easy to grow. I
get thousands of seedlings every year from my tree and have to yank them
out as weeds. Even so, I love this tree so much that I will put up with
it's offspring and even transplant them here and there.
For me in zone 8b, this tree will grow several feet a year and reach 30
feet in about 10 years. It is fairly hardy and only once, when we hit 2
degrees did it freeze down to the ground. It then came back even
stronger and faster from it's roots, reaching full size in about two
years.
Hope this helps.
Linda
