Re: [hellebore] Hellebore seeds?


Well, if they were mine, I'd try to remove as much paper towel as
possible without damage to roots and pot them up in my standard
potting medium just as though they were small plants but with the
seed enough under the top of the soil so it doesn't poke out. 
Remaining paper towels should rot away.  Trying to disentangle the
roots from the towels will damage them, I fear.

 If you keep them in that basement, you'll have to monitor closely
for the first seed leaves and immediately give them bright light. 
65F should be OK...could even be cooler.  Don't think I'd put them in
the fridge; too easy to forget to check them.  Would not allow those
paper towels to become dry at all...keep the roots moist.
