All I do... I find my plants outside and throw a 2-3"
layer of mulch around the base of the plant. Cant
remember when the seedlings come up, but I get ton's
of them.
The mulch consist of, semi aged cow manure and
sawdust chips. I shovel it myself... versus being
delivered..hehe.. its free that way. After a while, I
was a regular, and then to told me to start using the
bobcat. Three scoops and Im gone... versus a hand
shoveling.
Im in Seattle, Zone 7-8
