We have several delonix regia growing from seed - I will post a picture on
our site - of one I started in June of this year. -- It's about 4 ft tall
- (with roots I guess 8 ft. tall.) She's still a baby. I was so new to
this - that I did not know anything about germinating seeds - so I didn't
really try - I just put it in potting soil. I did not even know that I
should be monitoring the temperature - I guess we were lucky. We are in
San Antonio.
I have great hopes for this tree. Several years from now people will be
marveling at her beauty - and she will be the first thing they see in the
neighborhood. As she grows people will be inspired. I am.
