I've delonix regia or flamboyan ( as we call it) ,height about 30 feet, in
my country - Indonesia -flamboyan
usually grown as a sidewalk shade(very common here). mine is not the
tallest because it can grow up to
40-50feet. in Indonesia usually people grow flamboyan from seeds and as far
as I know there's no special
treatment in germinate the seeds. But if you live in sub-tropical or cold
region, I think you have to protect
the seed from cold, this is a tropical plant.
After bloom, the tree will grow fruit which contain more than 15 seeds.
When it ripe enough the seeds will fall
to the ground, germinate and grow near the mother tree. that's how I got my
tree.
