Last night I was reading through Barbara Barton's book "Gardening by Mail "
and I came across something so unusual that I had to post a message.
There is this outfit in Australia that sells "seeds which need fire to
germinate"
For those of you who have the book this is on Page A83. D.Orriell - Seed
Exporters . Perth , Australia
I would sure like to know more, about seeds requring fire to germinate.
How does the seed protect itself from being consumed by the fire??...Ranjit
