Dear List;
We have some Cornus canadensis seeds that we would like to germinate.
According to the Dirr/Heuser book; 'The Reference Manual of Woody Plant
Propagation', a sulfuric acid soak for one hour is recommended, however,
there is no indication of a specific concentration for the acid.
Are different concentrations used for different seeds (like GA-3)? Can we
use the sulfuric acid we see at Home Depot (it's for clearing sinks)? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill & Harvey
