I would sure like to know more, about seeds requiring fire to
germinate.
How does the seed protect itself from being consumed by the
fire??...Ranjit

If I had the post from last year, Diane Whitehead mentioned something
about a South African plant that would not germinate without a fire.
What does this mean. Something about a brush fire that happens in the
plains that starts the germination process. If I remember correctly ,
she had some process by placing it into the oven and burning it for
awhile.
Is this right?
