Latin name for Durian : Durio zibethinus
use infoseek search engine , type : durian on line
there are several good sites about durian and they own by malaysian and
thailand governments.
The best Durian came from thailand, they called it 'durian monthong',
malaysian and indonesian
cultivar are not so good as that type.
As far as I know, most durian tree are cultivated by air layering. It give
smaller tree with the same productivity and
quality, also take less time to maturity.
