I just received a packet of Heliotrope 'Dwarf Marine' seeds. The
instructions say to sow indoors 4 months before last frost and that they
germinate in about 21 days.
Are these plants very slow growing? Four months is a long time to grow
a plant under florescents and I'm a little nervous about starting them so
early.
I'd appreciate any advice from someone who has grown this plant.

Jim,
Finally I can contribute ! I started these seeds last year, purchased thru
T&M. I started them in late Febuary/early March. They germinated OK, and
bloomed in the middle of the summer. Sorry I don't have more accurate dates,
but I know they didn't take 4 months ! By the end of four months they were
blooming !
