I am finding this talk about Ipomoea Tuber Propagation quite
interesting. Last year, My I. Batatas "Blackie" died down & I watered
it once a week and it came back this spring. Now I have it in a hanging
pot with 2 I. tricolors and they haven't died back yet. When do you
propagate these plants, in the spring? When you talk about taking
"slips", do you mean just separating the rooted sprout from the tuber?
Thanks in advance, Judy Showers (tropical-seed swapper)
