Re: What am I doing wrong?

I have been using I use milled sphagnum moss to deter damping off for about
4 or 5 years now. The only time I use the grit is for a plant that I know
likes drier conditions. Both of these work in helping to prevent damp-off
and they give you the added benefit of helping you know when to water. Both
top dressings become lighter in color, indicating that a drink would be
welcomed. Other measures that you can take are to not overwater, give your
seedlings good air circulation ( a small fan works great) and be sure to
thin your seedlings. All of these tips will help. Good luck.
