Title: Pines vs. Spruces
Thank you all for the information; I appreciate you taking the time
Not knowing much about this I hesitate to contradict anyone but in my research after Glider's email I did a search and found Norway Pine to be 'Picea abies'....but I could be barking up the wrong tree (Little joke)
I had to do a bit of searching too, since it's been many years
since my taxonomy courses. Pine trees are the genus Pinus,
while spruces are the genus Picea. Since there are trees
commonly called "Norway pine" and "Norway
spruce", confusion is bound to occur.
