cinnamon vine propagation?

Can anyone help me out about germinating dioscorea batatas also known as
cinnemon vine, or chinese vine.. & is this hardy to zone 4 (I guess zone
6).  Anyone have experience with it as a container plant?

Also I just got

gautheria procumbens--wintergreen
plantago lanceolata--ribwort plantain
& silybum marianum--milkthistle

Im guessing stratification & germination in a hot spring greenhouse
would do the trick?


Also Ive been away & missed out on the seed exchange thread, is there a
new list set up or what is this about.
