Does anyone have any tips on how long it takes Maple seeds to germinate?  I
am not sure what species they are but was just curious.

The propagation of Malus seeds can be best decribed through the 
MANUAL OF WOODY LANDSCAPE PLANTS by Michael A. Dirr.
My particular manual is Copyright 1975, Revised 1977, there are later 
revisions out there.  A vey good reference guide.  Good Luck...
