If you know how to scrounge and McGiver things you can set up a lab for
next to nothing, a used dirty hepa filter (big labs junk them while
there is still life in them) an old furnace blower, a sheet of plywood,
a few garage sale light fixtures, and an old pressure cooker and a few
babyfood jars and you are in business. About the only thing you actually
need to buy is a long pair of forceps and some pre mixed media. You
might be able to get a good balance at a police auction ex local coke
dealer.
