Is there any reason why I can't grow lupines in pots & overwinter them in a cold frame, wait to see their color & then plant out in the garden. I want to conserve garden space & I want to exclude the yellow lupines from the mix. I have read the previous postings regarding soaking & scarification which are helpful. Thanks!
