Glad to see this discussion about hypogeal seeds.  All my Hosta seeds,
planted about 1 mo. ago, have started to germinate, heaved the soil above
just a bit, but seedlings haven't really broken thru with actual leaves . 
Are Hostas hypogeal, or do I have another problem ?
