My book of Native Texas Plants by Sally and Andy Wasowski calls `Cordia
boissieri' Mexican olive, Wild Olive, Anacahuite. Usual height is 12-15
ft., can reach 24 ft. Propagation: fresh or double-stratified seed,
softwood or semihardwood cuttings in summer. They say it's a wonderful
tree, everblooming with white blossoms 2" across. It's range is brushlands
and stream banks of the Valley and Mexico. It isn't very hardy, but is
drought tolerant once it's established.
