Alaiyo,
At the nursery where I work we try to let 80% germinate in darkness
before removing the cover. I can't recall if we have planted this
particular variety yet, but it reseeds itself in my garden every spring
from seed dropped during fall/winter. Ahh, just pulled up the info from
the Germination Database (thanks, Duncan). The Database is at:

http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/tm.html

		Type: Hardy Perennial
Sow : Late Winter/Late Spring and Late
                    Summer/Autumn
                    Germination Days: 14-90
                    Germination Temp: 65
Light/Dark: Darkness - Place trays in total darkness
                    Media: Well drained
                    Sow Depth : 1/16"
Comments: Bonariensis & Venosa. See No. 14.
			(Pre-chill for 2 weeks).
Looks like you may have to move your flat to a cool location for two
weeks then move back to a warmer place for germination to take place.
