Easiest way for me has been to put the seeds next to the plastic of the
baggie. Then the moist paper towel over them. Put this on the kitchen counter
with plastic down, so that you do not see the seeds. The roots will grow down,
cannot penetrate the plastic.
This eliminates the problem of roots growing into the towel. Of course you
need to turn the baggie over to see what's happening in there!
