Anemone caroliniana is listed as a Texas wildflower in my Wildflowers of
Texas book. There is no cultivation information, but since it blooms in our
fields I assume it goes through a period of natural stratification. It is
listed as a perennial so some of the specimens must come from an already
established root system of rhizomes.
