Hello Propagation friends. I think I finally got my new machine and new
programs running. I'M BA-ACK !!! And I have a question for all you green
geniuses. Somebody oughta have a hint.
While visiting a new friend (Sailing Club Capt) , I was admiring her garden
and houseplants very much. She offered starts of many things and it was hard
not to resist walking out with a bushel basket. But my wife was signalling
"No-we have to go NOW". We knew we would be back during growing season for
sure. But when we were offered a branch of an indor hanging plant she called
a Hoya. I liked it and my wife's eye's sparkled with permission, but just
for this one thing of course since it was an indoor thing. She broke off a
20 inch branch and said "just put it in water". Well, here's the deal. That
was two months ago and the durn branch is still alive just fine, but no
rootings at all. It lost one of its dozen leaves yesterday. It hasn't got a
root node one, and I have tried with and without rooting solution. I change
the vase water every 7-10 days. Any ideas?

Having a dryish and very warm winter. Lots of 50-60 F days and 25-30 ish
nights I have tulips and daffodils trying to sprout two months early [not
all of them]. Pansies are blooming and a lot of my perenials haven't been
frozen completely off yet. This is unusual, but then I can't be too
surprised after the last 24 months. Must be Sunspot induced weather.
I have no seed budget but spend hours looking at seed catalogues anyway.
It's a primal gardener thing. Can I join a ten step program? Nevermind, I
don't wanna be cured. [no insult inttended to those of us who have
benefitted from one]
