That's interesting. Tried propagating Rose Mallow seeds I had gathered on
year and had no success. Maybe the seed could be refrigerated prior to sowing.
Have had success germinating Shooting Star Hibiscus seed--no problem at all.
They will readily reproduce when their seeds fall on the ground if the area
is undisturbed.
