Mike ,just had to ask what is NARGS please?
And yes HID is rather expensive to get started I believe my total cost
250.$complete with parabolic reflector(and pulley for same)plus some
mylar which I never got around to putting up.(this was also 2+yrs
ago)Its used in a 10x10'room and everything blooms and grows well all
through fall/winter.
One serious drawback is the heat it generates! In turn it creates a
perfect growing ground for the dreaded Spider mite and after using
various treatments (even Natural predetors) I've compromised with
Horticultural oil which works well on most but not all plantings (some
dont like the oil and must be tested before continuing for risk factors
can be serious)also works wonders on the ---white fly that always seem
to make it inside on plants summered outdoors.
Well, hope that helped some.Let us know what the NGARS are .
C.H.
