Propagation-stratification

Has anyone had any experience with hemerocallis seed?  Since most
require exposure to cold to germinate, I was considering planting in
plug flats and leaving outside till warm enough in spring to transplant.

I have some started in the basement under lights, but I'm out of room to
start any more there.

Any helps or suggestions?
