Arisema

I have an arisema taiwanensis that finally has a ripe seed growth...I
hestitate to call it a pod, as it looks like a pineapple. Anyway, it's
been propped up off the soil for ripening and is now rich red. Since I
only had one plant, is the seed likely to be viable? And if so, does
anyone have info on how to clean and germinate the seed?
Thank you very much in advance.
