Dear Group,
We are trying to start some Glaucidium palmatum seeds, and think we are
doing well.
So far, we have done:
24hr. GA-3 (10ml = 1 mg) soak
2 week warm (70 F)
now they are in the refrigerator (40 F)
The seeds have swollen and look good. Are we right in assuming that they
are on their way to germinating after the 40 degree treatment, and that the
swelling is a good sign?
So far there is no sign of any kind of rot (phew!). We have them in a
coffee filter, (Melita cone type, which we find work better than paper
towels), in a plastic bag.
Looking forward to replies,
Bill & Harvey
