germination know how wanted on Liatris

Have grown the purple one for the first time and was so taken with it want
to trial it
for commerical selling.  All my visitors reations have been excellent so
want to 
check it out.  

Tell me about germination techniques, how long from seed to flowering, what
size 
container needed to sell in a flowering/budding state and best methods of
propogation
ie seed, root cuttings, green cuttings or division???
