Hi Jamie: Nothoscordum is sometimes referred to as false garlic. It is
similar to Allium but without the scent. It is best started in a cold frame
in a container and then placed out in the garden approximately 3" deep in
the fall in full sun or partial shade. There is approximately 20 species of
this genus and they do well in rock gardens or raised beds. I haven't found
bivalve, but sure it is similar to the others listed. Hope this will help.
