I went to the site indicated by Duncan and used the latin name supplied
above, but what I found was not too clarifying. How do I know that the
cypress above is the giant one ubiquitous in Monterey?At the site they only
mention propagation through cuttings. But the common cypress (unfortunately
no latin name available) I propagate by the thousands using seeds.
