I have germinated seeds of common camas, and the seeds had been dry-stored at 4C since 1997 ( when I bought them - so they were probably harvested in 1996 - 2 years old ). I sowed the seeds on Nov 10, 1998, and after approximately 8 weeks at 4C 60 % of the seeds had developed a radicle. I have today shifted them to a pot of soil, and placed them outdoors as C. leichtlinii according to the guru ( Deno ) need an addintional 2 months (at least) at 4C or below to develop the true leaf, and I figure the same applies to common camas. How long does one have to wait for flowering plants- 2 years, or more ?
