Why do they need to be rescued?
for many plants fungal growth is good for germination, fungi provide PGR's
that help with germination. Also Fungi on seeds tend to feed off of dead seeds
or on the seed coat or any pulp or fleshy matter still ached to the seeds.
If you see a problem with the same seeds-you can wash them before planting
them.
Use a 5% dilution of house hold bleach in room tempture water. and soak them
for five mins. then rinse than off in pure water twice.
If you have fungal growth on seedlings a 2-4% bleach spray out of a misting
bottle works well to knock it down.
Just to make it more clear-you would had 1 once of house hold bleach to 40
once of water.
You want to very lightly mist the seeds/plants, do not get the top of the soil
wet.
After misting wait about 3 min and then mist good with pure water. cleaning
off the foliage or seeds of the bleach. Only do this once or twice, because
bleach is toxic to plants in higher amounts and over extended exposure.
