Fungal growth on Corydalis

Is the fungal growth on Corydalis seed an indication of dirty or dead seed , or is it the aril that is getting moldy and the actual seed is fine ? Does anything special need to be done, or should I just leave them be ? I have treated the seeds with GA-3 solution. Will this be washed away if rinsing them or shaking them in soapy water. Same thing occured with Trillium seeds which also have arils. They germinated eventually anyway.
