I think the post to which you were replying advised saving seeds because of
the ominous terminator technology on the horizon.  Saving seeds in the face
of that technology will be futile indeed. We may have to screen out the
world to save our own seeds. The people who buy from the cheap stores don't
care about variety or hardiness.  they just want something colorful in that
corner.  Margaret
