Pulsatilla alpina ssp alpina

Dear Hannelotte,
Something I can help with, I had excellent germination last year with
Pulsatilla alpina ssp alpina of seed that I received through the
Scottish Rock Garden Society seed list. I found that It likes 40-50
degree nights and 70 degree days, and takes at least 3 months to
germinate. I refrigerated the seed for thirty days prior to sowing on a
peat and grit mixture, it was if I recall a drag remembering to move it
from the heat mat to my cool dark closet day after day, but well worth
the chore.
