I have sowed Pulsatilla alpina ssp. alpina at least five times under varying
conditions and haven't had any success at all.
Pulsatilla trisecta, tueczaninovii, vulgaris, albana, mongolica and aurea
germinated all within one month in room temperature.
Is there someone who can tell me what I should do with the P. alpina seed?

I live in Stockholm with a garden in Dalarna, 300 km north of Stockholm.
Boreal climate. Min temp in Dalarna approx. -30 C.
Almost reliable snowcover in winter,
rather dry most of the year but often heavy
rainfalls September - November
