I would put geraniums in a window box in the western addition (I presume in SF's western addition. You get good sun and the plant is hardy and if you keep picking at the brown leaves and the dead flowers it keeps flowering and flourishing. They come in all sorts of colors and there are the kind that overflow the box--I cannot think of their name because I am having a mind focus thing today. Marty
