I can never please everyone. Oh well...on to a new day....
Duncan,
I haven't been on the seeds list long, but I've been on the Organic
Gardening List for quite some time and although listmembers generally
stick
to the topic, some of the most interesting dicussions, which have
involved a
lot of the listmembers, have been either slightly off topic, or even had
nothing to do with organic gardening. I don't mean to be rude, but it
seems
to me that you're micromanaging the list. A little off-topic discussion
won't hurt anyone. And if I or anyone else had not been interested in
Marty's suicidal seeds, or the seed swap thread, we all have delete
keys.
This is a great topic for a listserv, and as a novice in seed
saving
and propagation, I'd like to see it thrive. IMHO a slightly more
relaxed
attitude on your part might help. L
