I find them extremely tedious to clean. Some of the seeds will fall into a
paper sack, but to get most of them, you have to strip each pod
open....tedious, tedious, tedious!
Sorry re: the germination. I just throw the ripe pods where I want them to
grow and thin out when needed. I learned about the cleaning by offering
some to a friend and having to clean the seed!
