Starting Catalpa from seed

I have tried three times this summer to start Catalpa from seed but the
plants always die when they get their 2nd set of leaves.  Any hints as
to what I am doing wrong? I start them in the greenhouse, using regular
potting soil. I have no trouble getting them to germinate but they seem
to wilt and then die.  Any hints would be appreciated.  Thanks in
